Tasting spoons are something professional chefs would never be caught dead without, and most home chefs would never even consider. A couple months back I picked some up at a restaurant supply store to add to my home arsenal… now I can’t believe that I ever lived without them. They allow us to taste, sample, sneak and make quick adjustments. It’s the simple act of tasting, tasting on a regular basis, and seasoning that can take even the simplest of foods to the next level.
